OBITUARY
WILLIAM FREEMAN. (By Telegraph —Fer Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 8. A veteran bowler and a very old resident of Wellington, William Freeman, died at his residence Ivaraka Bay this morning aetat 98. He came to New Zealand as a married man when 22. He was one of the original shareholers in the Bank of New Zealand, and a director of the old Wellington Opera House Company. His wife died ten year s ago, and be leaves two daughters, Mesdames E. E. Dunning of Auckland, and Miss E. M. Freeman of Wellington.
