An appalling accident happened at the Monoza racing track during the course of the'Grand Frix De Monza. Seventy competitors were racing at the highest speed when Etanceliny, a French crack, on board an AI a-ito-meo racer, travelling at over ninety miles per hour, suddenly shot- his car among a crowd, of the spectators before they were able to part. The great car mowed through the crowd, and when it bad been brought to a standstill, there was a heap ot men and women on the ground shrieking and struggling, of whom jour were dead and fifteen were seriously injured.

Etanceliny was only slightly hurt, The racing was abandoned.
