CYCLE RACING.
WAIMATE-CHRISTCHURCH RACE. (By Telegraph—Per Press A ssachtion) CHRISTCHURCH, August 12. The prize money has been reduced for the Waiinate-Christcliuroh road race on October 3. Last year CHS was distributed. This year ClOfT has been collected, but some of this lias to be held in reserve for emergency, so that the amount available for cash awards will ho considerably lowered. Entries close on August 24.
