GREY VALLEY MINERS
TAKING PART IN ALLECED STRIKE. (By Telegraph—Per Cress Association) GREYMOUTH. August 4. One hundred and fifty-one m.liens, members of the Grey Valley Union were proceeded against to-day by the Labour Department, charged with taking part in an alleged stike on June. 17, at Wallsend. Proceedings taken previously against the Union were dismissed and ai‘e now taken against the men individually. The trouble arose over the employment of a surveyor U the mine, who had also worked in the Brinndale tribute mine.
