WEDDING BELLS

CARTER—HAHN. A pretty wedding was celebrated in St. Mary's Church, Hokitika, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, when Lillian, eldest daughter of Mr and Mi s 0. Hahn of Stafford Street, was married to Mr Frank Carter. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Finevty. The bride, who was escorted hv her father; wore a , graceful ankle length frock of ivory satin trimmed with pearls. Her embroidered tul'le veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet ol white ro&s. . Miss Ethel Parker, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and wore a dainty ankle length " ■ ; of primrose georgette with rose tr.minings and mop cap to tone. Her bouquet was of chrysanthemums and roses. A. .ss Alona Hahn, sister of the bride also attended and wore a powder blue ceihanse frock with mop cap lo tolie. Her bouquet was of carnations and roses. The duties of nest man were can.ei. out by Mr T. Gumming, and Mr P. Parker acted as Groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was hold at the residence of the bride’s parents in Stafford Street. Rev. Father Finerty presided and the usual toasts were honoured. Numerous telegrams were received conveying best wishes, also many valuable presents including several cheques. Later- in the afternoon Air and Airs 'Carter left for Christchurch and Tima.ru where the honeymoon will he spent.
