ABANDONED BABY

IN DYING STATE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Associat ion) CHRISTCHURCH, July 27. When looking through a'n unoccupied house in Cashel Street yesterday afternoon, a woman was shocked to find the naked and apparently lifeless body of a female inland lying 0,1 the floor of the lavatory. Ihe child is now in the hospital, and is piogiossing favourably. The police have no clue as to tin identity of the mother.
