FOR TRAM MOTORMEN., (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, July 27. Tlul Christchurch j ramway Board decided today that all of the motormen in its employ must produce a medical certificate once a year. The Board also reserves the right to ask for a report from its own medical adviser at its own expense. The decision is the result of the recent decision o*f the Arbitration Court which awarded a widow £IOOO damages against the Board in respect of the death of a motorman. The evidence was that the man collapsed at work, but that death was the result of disease, and was only slightly,' if at all, accelerated.
