Owing to quarrels and jealousies among rival'groups at Hamburg, pqhce women battled, destroying office iurniture. Two afterwards sent a letter to the police chief, stating they were resigning, aftd announcing their intention of committing suicide. They walked into the North Sea and shot themselves dead, their bodies being washed ashore.
