FOR PAST QUARTER, | By Telegraph, Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, July 10. The banking returns for the second quarter of the year reflect the prevailing economic conditions. The principal movement, disclosed by the returns, when compared with the corresponding quarter of.last year, are: Government deposits decreased £1.272,651. free deposits decreased £5,104,762, fixed deposits increased £2,523 650, advances decreased £374,612, discounts decreased £293.016, note circulation decreased £617,553, coin and million increased £72,457. Free desposits current account balances for quarter amounted to £18,124,162, fixed deposits total £33,045,324, advances £52,499,860, note circulation £5,815,712, coin and bullion £6,926,023. -
