WORKER KILLED. BY FALL OF ROCK. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 31. Fatal injuries were received by John Joseph Flynn, aged 41 years, of Alt. Albert, ;\s the result of being crushed by a large rock in a tiench alongside the waterfront road, Kohimaramn, on Saturday morning. He died at Auckland Hospital this morning. Flynn was -employed by the Otv Council on excavation work to lower the level of the water main alongside the new road. While bending in a trench five feet wide b.v 18 inches? deep, lie was jammed by a heavy piece of papa rock, which gave way .rom the top of the trench. He was strm k on the hip and the back, and lie su<ierod severe internal injuries. The d "- ceased, who was a widower, is survived by two children.
