SUBMARINE CABLE CUT
STRONG PROTEST TO CHINA. .United Press Association. — By Electn. Telegraph—Copyright). TOKIO, May 6. Japan has strongly protested to the Nanking Government at the cutting of the cable between Formosa and Foochow, and demands its immediate restoration. The Government holds proofs that the cutting was ordered by the Chinese authorities.
