Tlie applications of the following Racing (.‘mbs for dates for forthcoming nieetiii J, were recommended as follows: Westport Jockey Club, Alarcli Will and 21st. 1932; Westland Racing Club, Summer Aleeting, December 26th and 28th, 1931 ; Autumn Aleeting, Alarcli 30th, 1932; Nelson Jockey C'l'uh, Friday and Saturday, April 22nd and 23rd, 1932; Kmiiara R aoing Club, Easter Afonday, Alarcli 28th, 1932.

The Racing Conference notified that the.claim of the jockey, J. A. Lewis, who was alleged to have been injured whilst- riding Silent at Reeiton on January Bth, 1930, bad not been recognised.

The New Zealand Racing Conference notified that the following licenses bad been granted to applicants in. the West Coast district:—Trainers: A. G. Wood, J. T. Cameron (conditional); Jockeys: ,T. A. Maloney, C. R,. Menzies, conditional (permanent employee). R. Alorris’s application for a jockey’s license was not granted. E. Aloran’s three months conditional trainer’s license was not renewed, as he appeared to have no horses in training, The Secretary said that the Commit, tee should support the AVcgtlancl Racing Club’s application to hold their autumn race meeting at Riccarton on Afay 30tfi, to which Ashburton were now objecting. It had been intended to run a combined meeting with Ashburton op Afay 23rd, which bad, however, been objected to by the Alinister. Ashburton were now racing on their own track on May 23rd,

It was decided to support the Westland Racing Club’s application to hold their meeting at Riccarton on May 30th.
