OLD MAN’S BODY FOUND. (by Telegraph —Per Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April S). The body of an elderly man, Janies D. Moir, apparently dead lor several months, was found to-day in a lonely hut on Awarua Plains. Moir w« s a labourer and was the occupier of 20' acres oj' peat swamp land, which lie visited only occasionally, and his absence occasioned no surprise. He was last seen at Awarua at the beginning of November, when lie informed Ins friends that he had secured a good position. The discovery was made by a friend, who called to se 0 if lie bad returned for the holidays. 'Flic body was partly dressed, and was in a. kneeling position before a couch.
