SIR MALCOLM CAMPBELL
AUDIENCE' WITH THE KING. United Prose Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, February 22. The King gave the accolade of knighthood to Sir Malcolm Campbell, the racing motorist, yesterday, after which they talked for forty minutes upon the record-making feat.

In Westminster Hall be was welcomed by the Minister of Transport, Mr Herbert Morrison, and the Secretary of the Department of Overseas Trade, Mr Gillett. Mr Morrison said that Sir Malcolm Campbell's record was an invaluable tribute to the efficiency of British engineering. Sir Malcolm Campbell replied that be was proud if bo bad helped to cement the friendship that existed between the United States and Britain and to uphold British traditons
