A BIG FIRE

A fire at Temarra, centre of farming and mining in the south-west of this State destroyed fourteen buildings in the main portion of the business area including two hotels. The damage is twenty-five thousand. AUSTRALIAN MONEV. ADELAIDE, February 23. SYDNEY JOCKEYS SUSPENDED SYDNEY. February 23.
The Australian Jockey Club’s Stewards held an inquiry into the cause of interference in two races at Warwick Farm cm Saturday, and the Mennngle Park jockeys, "Wyeth and Abbott. were suspended for careless riding. the former for a month, and the latter for two months.
