NARROW WIN. FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA. OVER WEST INDIES. (Australian Press Association.) ADELAIDE, February 11. South Australia defeated West Indies by one. wicket and one run at Adelaide to-day. The conclusion of the match was a memorable one. South Australia’s tail-enders were very tenacious, albeit lucky. Walker, with a square-cut for three made tlu* winning hit with five minutes to go. There was a delay of ten minutes on account of Hunte sustaining a head injury from a fast ball from Constantine. Brilliant fielding was feature of tile game. Scott’s bowling was very difficult, and at one stage he had four wickets for twenty-six runs.
