Men’s Championship Singles, third round: Sehadick beat Magee 6—O, 6—3; Woodward beat Blackmore 6—2, 6—4; McCarthy beat Warnes 6—2, 6—4 ; Larsen beat Phipps 6—l, 6—l. Semi-finals: Woodward beat Sehadick 6—4; 10 —8 ; McCarthy beat Larsen 6—3, 6—4.
