The State Parliamentary Labour Party a week ago instructed Mr Lang, the Premier, to approach the Loan Council for n loan of one million to help needy N.S.W. farmers. This decision was rescinded to-day. As a result Mr Lang will not attend the next meeting of the Federal Loan Council. The British motor ship Enton which is ashore on a reel forty-five miles from Noumea has been abandoned. It is feared that the vessel will now become a total loss, waves already having displaced her.
