the shooting of which was cabled oil January 26, an American-owned vessel but her ownership was the same as that of the rum-runner ‘‘Tin Alone” who seizure was cabled on April 6th. 1929. Both vessels were under Canadian registry, but it is alleged that they were controlled by a dummy Canadian organisation, while their actual owners are a New York rum ring. the chief operators of which are now in prison, or are on bail.
