Doctor H.ohago, an expert, who has I>cen investigating Tausend’s experiments in connection with the latter’s .prosecution for fraud, cabled, on January 20th, on behalf of an important firm gave evidence at the trial ol Tausend that lie watched the alchemist for’three hours in which, he difl not produce gold. Eventually Tausend dropped a cigarette end into his gold making machine, in which a small piece of gold was later found, thereby appearing to support the prosecution’s contention that Tausend inserted the gold concealed in cigarette ends when he was demonstrating at the Bavarian mint. . bn;-.
