SYDNEY. January 25
Svdnev City Council recently ordered an inquiry into defalcations amounting to two thousand sterling in its rent collections. The City Council owns considerable property. The Town Clerk has now received Ihe report, j-evealing a loss of two thousand sterling in the rents for 1930, and making scathing criticism o loose methods adopted in the control of the city’s assets.
