The Princess Royal, the King’s eldest sister, who has been an invalid for some time, died suddenly of heart failure in her sleep this afternoon, in the presence of her daughters, Princess Arthur of Connaught and Lady Maud Carnegie. She was 61 years of age and was declared Princess 11.0ya.1 in 1905. She married in 1889, the Duke of Fife, who died in 1922.
