Murders, many manslaughter cases, scores of suicides, hundred holdups and innumerable burglaries, is the police crime summary for New South Wales for 1930, making one of the most formidable on record. The hundredth holdup occurred last night, when two men attacked a woman at Waver ley, viciously assaulting her, gagged and. bound her to a chair, stole twelve shillings and escaped. The woman collapsed uncl/er the terrifying ordeal, and was unconscious for some time.
