THE YEAR’S DECREASE. By Telegraph—Per Press Association,’ WELLINGTON, December 23. The overseas trade figures for November and the past eleven months of the year show general decreases. The figures are as follows, those for the corresponding’ periods of 1929 being given in parentheses:— November: Exports £2,394,543 (£2,878,804), imports £2,787,826 (£4,049,512), excess of imports £393,283 (£1,170,708.) The exports for the month decreased from November, 1929, to November, 1930, by £484,261, and the imports by £1,261,686. The excess of imports decreased by £777,425. For the eleven months ended November 30, the exports were (£51,012,893); import® were £39,827,952 (£44,813,738); the excess of exports were £2,143,236 (£6,199,155); the exports-decreased by £9,041,705,. and the imports by £4,985,786; and the excess of exports decreased ■ by £4,055,919.
