FLOODS DAMAGE REPORTS. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 12 noon). MELBOURNE, December 8, There has been extensive damage in Victoria owing to floods, Practically the entire State was drenched, Wheat crops in Mailee are under water. Floods nre feared along Campa spe river at Orobst and other parts of Gippesland. Shops at Woodend were flooded out, several suburbs being inundated, The most serious floods were at Heidelbury and Kew, where a very large area of land is under water.

Several railway bridges and culverts were destroyed. The Sydney express was delayed for hours. No serious loss of livestock is reported though many cattle were marooned. Harvesting operations received a severe set-back and wheat losses are certain to be heavy. Earlier In the month it was estimated the yield would amount to fifty m-'llion bushels.
