LONDON, December 6. Hr A. J. Cook of the Hiners’ Federation), Lord and Lady Mosley, Mr Oliver Baldwin, and fifteen other Labour Members of Parliament have issued a manifesto urging action to avert a nation-wide crisis. They urge the vesting of wider powers in the Government for the creating of an emeigeney Cabinet of five ministers without port.olios, to execute a policy with the following objects: The creating of a new balance between agriculture and industrial production; the organising of markets ; the controlling of imports; the sheltering of the workers and sweating, and dumping and from fluctuating prices; the ensuring of efficiency; the operating of a protective tariff; the concluding of imperial and foreign trading agreement; the reducing of taxation ; the instituting of slum clearance and rehousing and the using of the unemployed workers therein.
