PRINCE’S VISIT.
TEARS AT A HOSPITAL. LONDON, November 19. Visiting the Children’s Hospital, in Great Ormond Street, London, for the purpose of inaugurating an appeal for £500,000 for rebuilding, the Prince of Wales spent half an hour walking the wards and chatting and jesting with the tiny inmates. ’Pile Prince received a pink carnation buttonhole from a four-year-old girl. Percy Coy, aged 2D hurst into tears as a flashlight protograph was taken The Prince walked to his cot and petted and consoled the child. Later, in speech, the Prince pointed out that, in 80 years, the hospital b IK I treated over 1.000.000 children. He urged people bo he generous.
