NAPIER, December 3. A slight rise on Auckland levels was shown at the first Napier wool sale to-day, A catalogue of 19,000 bales was offering with exceedingly keen competition especially from the Continent with Bradford bidding freely. The best offer up till noon was for super “comeback” which was passed in at 83d. First grade “comeback” was passed at Bd.
Super hogget realised 7] cl. First grade crossbred ranged generally from 4)d t-:> ."Dpi. The best price for first grade pieces was Cd.
