AN IMPROVEMENT. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, December 2. At to-day’s wool sales, the market was very firm, with good general competition. The outstanding feature was the strong buying on Japanese account. Greasy merino made 23] pence. SY!)\ EY, December 2. At the wool sales, the offerings totalled 10,561 bales, 9,847 being sold, also 809 being disposed of privately. PERTH WOOL SALES. PERTH. December 2. At to-day’s wool sales, 20,000 bales were offered, including many c-hoiee clips. Good clearances were made. The competition was fairly well distributed. Values were clown five per cent, compared with the former sales. The best price was 14 pence.
