ATTACK ON BARRACKS
POLICE DRIVE OFF ATTACKERS

SYDNEY, December 1
An attempt to wreck the Barracks occupied by Master Butchers at Aberdeen who were killing stock for Sydney trade was made by about thirty men. Then maintained a fu si lade of miss ale throwing until scattered by the police, who fired over the heads of the attackers. Large quantities of blue metal were hurled throught the doorways and windows of the barracks where there were fifty-four butchers. A wild scatter took place when the police, who are also living on the premises, brought revolvers into play. Additional police have been rushed to Aberdeen where all is now quite.
