A meriting of diew interested in the case of A.briuuim Saliimau, held Inst evening, was so largely attended that it was found necessary to take a larger hall to a-ccommodule the audience. . ■ Mr J. G. Brechin, of Pabiafua, presided and several well known, settlers spoke of the favourable ; results attending treatment received at the hands of Salaman. The following resolution, to be forwarded to the Acting Prime Minister (Hon E. A. Ransom), was carried unanimously This meeting of those cured from illness, so that those obtaining the benefits from treatment by Salaman, pray the Acting Prime Dlinister at once to use bis great influence with Cabinet to secure the immediate release of Salaman from gaol, and that this request is made in the interests of those patients who are under the care of Salaman and are receiving the utmost benefit from bis treatment.
