BOY TAKEN BY A CROCODILE

Livingstone, an enclosed swimming pool on the Zambesi three miles from town, was the scene of a tragedy witnessed by hundreds of residents. A European lad, a strong swimmer, was observed in difficulties hanging from a wire part of the grating. A man. fully clothed, jumped in and caught the boy. but found himself pulled down and was compelled to give up. A crocodile on the other side of the grating had seized the boy, who is uutraced.
