NEW CREW SIGNED ON.
FIFTY-NINE MEN PUT OFF,

SYDNEY, November 80. The liner Niagara sailed this afternoon at five o’clock for Auckland.
• A crowd of over one thousand men gathered outside the Shipping Master's office, “"in response to the call for a crew for the vessel, and . a new crew was quickly signed on.
A Union Company official denies the statement that the Company will probably place its ships on articles that will exclude the employment of Australian seamen, following on the action of the Australian Seamen’s Union in disciplining fifty-five members of the deck-hand and engine-room staff of, the Niagara.
