There was a heavy yarding of fat sheep, and an irregular sale. There was a drop of 2s per head at the commencement, with a lowering tendency. Extra prime woolly wethers sold io ols 9d, prime heavy 26b 6d to 30s fid, medium 24s to 265, inferior from 19s fid; shorn wethers to 295. 7d, extra heavy woolly ewes to 27s 7d; prime 2.2 s6d to - 26s 6d; medium 17s to 21s fid; light from 14s; shorn ewes to 26s 4d. There was an over-supply -J fat lambs, and they dropped in values. •Extra prime heavy lambs sold to 33s 10d prime 25s 6d to 28-s, medium 22s to 255; light from 15s.
There was a large yarding of store sheep, with many small, nondescript lots. It was a dragging sale.
Thorn was *a dragging market of pork and bacon- The market was irregular. The average .was 48s bd to oftS Gd, heavy to £3 12s 6d : choppers 50s to £7 IBs Gd; average 7UI to Rd per 11>. Baconers sold £3 14s Gd to £4 5 sGd, heavy to £4 18s fid; average fi-ld 'to l.Ud per lb. Store pigs were firm.
