The furniture was insured for £3OO in the ,same office. MAN KILLED BY MACHINERY MASTERTON, November 5. Donald Laing, aged twenty son of Gordon La ng, of upper Plain, Masterton, was killed to-dny while working the wood-sawing ' plant at Re ware wa station 1 , Tinui. It appears that the deceased in attempting to stop the engine, got caught in theiipachinery. The deceased’s neck being broken, and his skull fractured.
