ACTION IN DANCE HALL. LONDON, October 24. The length of Frau Muller’s skirt has been the subject of litigation for two years and a half till recently when a German High Court jiulge expressed the opinion that her skirt was not short enough to just'fv her expulsion from a restaurant in Cassel. Frau Muller went to the restaurant with her husband, a respectable official, and a 'friend. She danced with the friend after dinner. He was tall and she was short. When she put her hand on his shoulder the skirt went up and almost showed her knees. “They may do this sort of thing 'n Gorlin, but not in our Cassel,” said a woman patron, who sent her husband to eomlam to tin* manager. utliers followed suit; and the manager asked Muller to take his wife home. Muller took action for slander against the manager, who retorted bv charg'ng Hip Mullers with having created a disturbanee.
