BANK RETURNS. (Australian Press Association.) S'YDNGY, November 5. The deposits in the twenty-one trading I auks in Australia declined by £5,735,542 during the three months ended September 30th. The advances made by the banks in the'same period were reduced by £8,097,559. The total assets of three bankg at September 30th. were £396,378,728.
