Two young sons of Charlie Chaplin have been economising, according to a message from Les Angles. They are allowed six thousand dollars each for expenses. Charles junior spent only 2996 last year and Sydney Chaplin aged six spent only 3008. This was revealed to-day in the third annual account filed by their guardian and mother, Lita Grey Chaplin, the divorced wife of the comedian. THE PEARY INCIDENT. VANCOUVER, October 15, Toronto report states: —“I am awfully sorry this has been dragged into tlic papers,” said Afajor Burwash commenting on the published article quoting hint as questioning Peary’s discovery in the North Pole. “It was never meant by me to be published. Al.v remarks were never meant as an opinion. I merely repeated what certain Eskimo drivers had stated, and added their accounts placed a further complex aspect on the controversia Peary Polar discovery.”
