LONG SKIRTS

A PROFESSOR OPPOSED.

[United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

(Reofcived this day at 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, October 15

The war against long skirts is unabated. The late.-st recruit is Professor Winfred Cullis who urged a big gathering of city girls, strong mindedly to oppose the reintroduetion of long skirts “I shall he positively ashamed of women if they return to them. Do not let yourselves he led astray, .because some rich women who go about in large cars, choose to wear them.”

Another edict was not to worry about being slim. “If you are naturally slim you’ll be si ini. if not you won’t.”
