PUBLIC PROTEST
BACK TO NATURE CULT. . LONDON, Oct. 3. Attempt by sun-bathers to introduce the back to nature cult on the shores of the Walsh Harp, at Hendon, was quickly ended when a deputation from AA’ille'sden Council, accompanied by police and other officials, visited the encampment of the “Sunray and New Life” Society and delivered an ultimatum to members to clear out within an hour. Notice was served on a mahogany coloured man wearing next to nothing, and ou an almost naked woman. The latter was found in Sunrny Villa, which consisted of two sheets of corrguated iron and three boards. Captain of the sun bathers, a man named Vincent, accepted notice of eviction and instructed members of the society to move to adjacent land on the Grand Union Canal. An official of the canal then requested the police to eject the trespassers, and the sun bathers next moved to Hendon recreation ground. The park keeper promptly hurried off to tho council to peek instructions before taking action against the sun worshippers.
Despite the uproar that has been created, the members of the popular cult are determined to carry on,
