Trapped often by liis opponent, but never really extended, Joe Steelier (16. o), the greatest wrestler, who lias appeared in Wellington, defeated Howard Cantonwine (15.8), by .straigh falls in their professional match at the Town Hall this evening.

Walker being declared the winner...Up to then, each had secured a submission fall, Walker in the fourth with a reversed toe hold, and Lurich in the seventh with a. double arm scissois. It was a particularly strenuous contest, the men several times going through the ropes.
