PERUVIAN REVOLUTION. NEW MILITARY GOVERNMENT. [United Press Assooiatiom-By Electric Telegraph—Copy right. ] LIMA, August 23. A new military Government headed by Lieutenant Colonel Luis Cerro, who initiated a revolutionary movement a week ago, assumed complete control on Thursday, displacing the eleven year old dictatorship of the deposed President' Augusto i.eguia, and Junta of General Manuel Lou.ee, and which on Monday forced the President’s resignation, WAR DEBT PAYMENT. MAY BE SUSPENDED. LONDON, Aug. 28. The British United Press says:— Germany is on the .eve of a , most critical period, due to the uncertainty of impending election results, and also to the disquieting economic outlook. The industrial, agricultural and commercial depression is assuming alarming proportions. The unemployed will total four millions by the mid-winter. Germany has to pay eighty millions sterling in reparations during the coming year and highly placed authorities are dificussing whether it will be necessary to ask for a moratorium early in 1931.
The Cabinet to-day lopped nine millions sterling from the Budget.
