TRACTOR DRIVER INJURED
(By Telegraph—Press Association). ' MASTER TON, July 29. An employee of the Masterton County Council, John A Watt, married, residing in Hacker St., Masterton, was injured this morning while working a tractor on the Ruamahanga River bed at Teoreore. There was.no eye witness of the accident, but. apparently Watt was reversing the tractor, at the time when the seat appears to have fallen out, precipitating him on the ground. Watt was dragged along for some distance, and the tractor dropped into eight, on ten feet of water. The Injured man was not noticed for over..;half an hour, being found, on the river bed, and then, immediately conveyed to the Hospital. An X-Ray examination was made, and it was found that Watt was suffering from a a dislocated-: hip,, and also, was suffering from shock., ; , ,r;w y
