FRENCH FLYING BOATS IN BRITAIN. ... RUGBY, July 15. Tho French Government has ordered, from Messrs Short Bros, at Rochester, two more “Calcutta” flying boats' for the'French navgl air service. The machines , will be mainly' constructed of metal, but ;-will be equipped witli three engines'-of the well-known Bris-tol-Juprfer pattern. This order is the 'sequel to the earlier purchase of a “ , Oalbu/tta’ r flying 'boat, whidli has given extremely satisfactory, servrce.
