Mawhera 6 v. United 1. Hokitika 6 v. Kokatahi 1. MAWHERA (6) V. United (1). At Victoria Park yesterday afternoon in the Milligan Cup competition, Mawhera defeated Uniteds after a hard fought and interesting game by G goals to 1. Misses Furness (5) and B. Milligan scored for Mawhera. Miss Lockington scored for United. Mr F. Higgins was referee. Hokitika ladies travelled to Kokatahi and after an interesting game were victorious by 6 .goals to 1. Scorers were: J. Hall, N. Yarrall, M. Hughes (2), 0. Stapleton (2) for Hokitika and Mrs Baird'scored for Kokatahi. The final of the Cup competition will he played between Mawhera and Hokitika at Victoria Park on Wednesday next.
