FOOTBALL

.BRITAIN v. POVERTY BAY,

(By Telegraph—Press Association)

GISBORNE, July 16,

The weather conditions for to-day’s game Britain and Combined Poverty Bay-East Coast-Bay of Plenty are good. Rain fell last night, though this morning was bright and clear. The ground is greasy but not heavy, and spectators anticipate a fast open display.

The demand for seats is unprecedented here and a block of 21 auctioned for R.S.A. funds realised £22. There are no changes in the teams announced.
