[United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]

(Received this dav at 11 a.m.) DELHI, July 15.

There have been serious disturbances; in Kishoreganj, a sub-district of Mymensingh. Broadly speaking, they are the true form of attack by Mpslem villagers on rich Hindu money lenders, and are the effects of the civil disobedience boycott. The trade collapse is now beginning to affect the Villagers, who in this case took vengeance on the nearest and handiest victims.

The; rioters, operating over an area of one hundred and fifty square miles for several days past, have carried on a campaign of- lawlessness, looting and murder in eight villages. The infuriated crowds vented their fury on money lenders, whose houses were sacked and looted.

At Jangalia, a mob of several thousand savagely attacked a Hindu money lender, namely Crishna Chanella, killing- the whole family of nine with axes, setting lire to the-house and. .flinging the bodies into tho flames, Crishna stoutly defended them with a gun until his ammunition gave out. A small body of police fired on the mob,, but were Kneed to retreat. In other villages three were killed. The arrests totalled nearly one hundred.. *.. , '
