Provisional agreements have l>een signed to amalgamate the Home and Colonial stores Oof Lipton Limited, Maypole Diviry Company, Meadow Dairy Company, Peavks Dairies, and International Tea Company. This is an important fusion from an Australian and New Zealand viewpoint for the companies are very large purchasers of butter and cheese and control a great number of shops,

LONDON, June 24. The press delegates were presented to their Majesties by Major Astor, The Empire Press Union came first, then the Dominion delegations in the order of historical seniority.
