LONDON, June 11
A Leipsig bank messenger carrying £750 was held up by three men, who shot him in the stomach, snatched the money, and rushed away in a car, threading skilfully through the traffic. They were pursued by a fire brigade ambulance and by private cars, and later by the police. The thieves fiieif back recklessly at their pursuers, and they shot a workman. Their own car ■' was '.eventually damaged. They transferred to a tram car, took control, and drove it in a frenzied manner, hut finally they abandoned the. tram car and disappeared.
