The Asia’s captain wirelessed that 112 pilgrims, mostly Moslems .are Trussing and it is feared all have perished. He stated the crew was unable to get all the pilgrims into the boats. Those who were left dropped to their knees on the deck and remained praying till overwhelmed by the flames.
